Oldest marijuana stash found

(ABC News in Science):

A kilogram of green plant material found in a 2700-year-old grave in the Gobi Desert has just been identified as the world's oldest marijuana stash, say researchers.

And tests on the marijuana reveal it possessed potent psychoactive properties, casting doubts on the theory that hemp was only grown to make clothing, rope and other objects.
